Phil Laak is one of the rare poker players that is not
afraid to let it all hang out. This
comes on the storm of controversy that he acts unprofessional during the games
but Laak will hear nothing of it. He says that poker is a game and that he is

sweat shirt and sunglasses during play which has earned him the name
“Unabomber”. He is also fond of pulling
the strings closed to hide his face during large hands and says he will

the World Poker Tour claiming a title and several money finishes.
Laak
is currently dating the actress Jennifer Tilly who is a professional poker
player in her own right. She won a World
Series of Poker bracelet in 2005 for the ladies only tournament and continues
to be a major competitor for many of the other players in the game at this
time.
Laak
has earned over eight hundred thousand dollars in live tournament play. He was born on September 8, 1972 in Dublin. At age 34 he now resides in California and is a major contender for the
next big title. Besides playing the
tournaments, Laak is a top notch cash game player and also loves to bet on
sports as a hobby.
