Craps

When you are first interested in playing at an online casino, the first decision that you have to make is what game to play. One of the most popular games at any casino is Craps, this is one of the most exciting and action packed games. When you go into a land based caisson you can usually tell where the Craps table is by where the crowd and the yelling are coming from. Players get very involved in this game, whether they are the thrower or just betting on the person throwing. There can be up to 20 people at the craps table at one time, having all of those people around really helps to add to the excitement of the game. Now that you are ready to see how the game works we can start with the first roll of the dice, which is called the Come Out roll and this symbolizes that a new game is beginning. Now a Come Out bet can only be made if the previous shooter didn’t make a winning roll (which is the Point or seven out).

Each game begins with a new shooter, when the current shooter does make his winning roll that shooter gets the dice again. When this happens it is considered a continuation of that shooters roll, but in fact it is a new game. Any time the shooter doesn’t make their point the dice are handed to the next player for another Come Out roll. When the dice are thrown they are rolled across the table, before you start to play you should know something about the layout of the table so you know where the dice have to land to count. There are three sections of the table, two sides divided by a center section. Each one of the sides are exactly the same and contain the following Pass and Don’t Pass line bets, Come and Don’t Come bets, Odds bet, Place and Field bets. The center section consists of the Proposition bets. Now if you have never played this game none of these names mean anything to you, so we will explain.

If you place a Pass Line bet you will win if the shooter lands on a natural 7 or 11 on their first roll, and you will lose if the dice lands on a 2, 3, or 12. On the other hand if you land on a 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10 which is what is known as a Point is has to be repeated before another 7 is thrown if you are to win, if a 7 is rolled before that point is rolled again the bets will be lost. A Don’t Pass Line bet is the opposite of the Pass Line bet, if the first roll of the dice is a 7 or 11 you lose and if the dice land on a 2 or 3 you win and a 12 means you push or tie with the casino. And to make you a winner if a point is rolled a 7 must come next for you to win. And Odds on Pass Line bet is the bet that you make after a point is rolled, all you have to do is take the odds, there is a different amount for each point, and you can only win if the point is rolled again before the next 7 comes up. When you make a Come Bet the rules are the same as the Pass Line except that you can only make this bet after the point on the pass line has been decided. A Don’t Come bet is the opposite of the Come Bet, after the Come point has been decided you will win if the out come of the dice roll is a 2 or 3 and you will lose for a 7 or 11, 12 is a tie with the house. Place Bets works after the point has been decided, bets can be made on a dice roll of 4,5,6,8,9, or 10, you win if the number you bet on comes up before the 7. With Field bets you only get one roll of the dice and if you get a 2,3,4,9,10 or 11 you win, a 5,6,7, and 8 will end up in a lose for you. Proposition Bets are all one roll bets and you win if you get any Craps (2,3, or 12), any Seven (7), Eleven, Ace Deuce ( win if a 3 is rolled), Aces or Boxcars (2 or 12), Horn Bet ( 2,3,11,or 12). Remember that all of these bets are one roll bets which means that the dice have to land on the number with one roll of the dice. Now you know a lot about this game and you can go into the game with enough knowledge to win out over all of the other players.
